Badbrook Explorer Scout Unit is based in Stroud, Gloucestershire, and provides exciting Explorer Scouting to young people from Stroud and the surrounding area.
Who are Badbrook Explorer Scouts? Badbrook Explorer Scout Unit was formed in Spring 2003 and evolved from the previous Venture Scout Unit. We meet weekly on a Wednesday from 7.30pm to 9.30 pm in Stroud. We run a weekly programme of activities and also weekends and weeks away during the year. As an Explorer Scout at Badbrook you can expect a fun and rewarding programme covering all the Programme Zones; Outdoors, Skills, Community Service, Environment, Values, Physical Recreation, Relationships and International. Past programmes have included the activities; Canoeing, Camping, Wide Games, BBQs, Pioneering, Hiking, Windsurfing, Pioneering, Skittles, Climbing, Guest Speakers, Visits Out, Visits to Foreign Countries. In summary you can expect; Fun, Making new friends, Teamwork, Outdoor and Indoor Activities, Socialising, Weekends Away.
